The ceilidh collective works by bringing together volunteers to manage the running of the events, from decorating the venues, to feeding the volunteers, to staffing the door and the bar, and the tidy up and recycling efforts. It is only with this voluntary support over many years, that we are able to continue. A nominal fee (currently £175 per large event) is made to BOE to cover the administrative costs of securing licences, the venue, publicity, maintaining the website, bands and support acts. All work on the day of the event is carried out without rennumeration for anyone except for the main band. Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, raising tens of thousands of pounds, with over 100 volunteers and musicians
